These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TheVTeam website, services, content, and related platforms (collectively, the “Service”) operated by TheVTeam (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not access or use the Service.

1. Use of Service

Acceptable Use

You may use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

Weather Information

The weather information, radar data, forecasts, reports, livestreams, commentary, and severe weather content provided by TheVTeam are for informational and educational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any weather-related information on our Service.

You should not rely solely on TheVTeam for life-safety or emergency decision-making. In dangerous or emergency situations, always refer to official sources such as the National Weather Service, local emergency management, and public safety officials.

2. User Content

Content Submission

Our Service may allow users to submit content, including but not limited to photos, videos, storm reports, messages, media, and other materials. You retain ownership of any content you submit. However, by submitting content to TheVTeam, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, and share that content in connection with our Service, operations, promotions, and media coverage.

Content Standards

You represent and warrant that any content you submit:

  • Is owned by you, or you have the legal right to submit it

  • Does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party

  • Does not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or abusive material

  • Does not contain adult content, graphic violence, gore, or otherwise inappropriate material

  • Does not contain personal information of others without their consent

  • Is not knowingly false, misleading, or intended to cause panic or public harm

Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, moderate, screen, remove, or refuse user content at our sole discretion. We may use automated tools or moderation systems to help detect inappropriate or prohibited content, but we do not guarantee that all such content will be identified or removed.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, branding, graphics, logos, features, design, text, and functionality (excluding user-submitted content) are and will remain the exclusive property of TheVTeam and its licensors. The Service is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.

THEVTEAM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND AVAILABILITY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEVTEAM, ITS OWNERS, STAFF, TEAM MEMBERS, AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TheVTeam and its owners, team members, affiliates, partners, contributors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights

  • Any content you submit, post, transmit, or share through the Service

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the website or other appropriate means. By continuing to use the Service after updated Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
